Thank you for considering contributing your work to GSWA Knowledge Base. We value the input and expertise of our contributors, and through this agreement, we aim to establish clear guidelines and expectations regarding content submissions. This Contributor Agreement outlines the terms under which content may be submitted, as well as the rights and responsibilities of both contributors and GSWA Knowledge Base.

1. Content Submission

By submitting content to GSWA Knowledge Base, whether in the form of articles, research papers, blog posts, multimedia, or any other type of content, you agree to the following terms:

  • Eligibility: You confirm that you are the author or have received proper authorization to submit the content. You must have the legal right to submit the content and grant the rights to GSWA Knowledge Base as outlined in this agreement.
  • Original Work: You agree to submit only original content that has not been published elsewhere. If your content contains excerpts or references to other works, proper attribution must be provided, and permission should be obtained from any third-party sources if necessary.
  • No Plagiarism: You affirm that your content is free from plagiarism. All sources and references must be properly cited in accordance with relevant academic or professional citation standards.
  • Content Standards: The content submitted must comply with GSWA Knowledge Base’s editorial guidelines, which include but are not limited to:
    • Respectful and inclusive language.
    • Relevance to social work, social justice, community development, and related fields.
    • Avoidance of content that promotes hate, violence, or discrimination.

You must ensure that your submission aligns with GSWA Knowledge Base’s mission and vision.

2. Review and Approval

All content submitted to GSWA Knowledge Base will be reviewed by our editorial team before publication. GSWA Knowledge Base reserves the right to:

  • Edit the content for clarity, style, and compliance with our editorial standards.
  • Reject content that does not meet our quality standards or aligns with our mission and objectives.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for revisions to improve the content.

Your submission may be edited or updated before publication, and any edits will be made with the goal of preserving the integrity of your original work while ensuring it aligns with GSWA Knowledge Base’s guidelines.

3. Ownership of Submitted Content

  • Contributor Ownership: As the contributor, you retain ownership of your submitted work. However, by submitting your content to GSWA Knowledge Base, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to publish, distribute, display, and promote the content on our platform and any related digital or physical media.
  • License for Use: The license granted to GSWA Knowledge Base includes the right to:
    • Use, edit, modify, adapt, publish, and display the content for editorial, promotional, or educational purposes.
    • Republish the content on GSWA Knowledge Base’s platform or through third-party channels (e.g., newsletters, social media).
  • Attribution: GSWA Knowledge Base will provide proper attribution to you as the author of the content. The attribution will typically include your name, biography (if provided), and a link to your profile (if applicable).
  • No Exclusivity: You are free to republish your content elsewhere after it has been published on GSWA Knowledge Base, provided that you include a clear attribution to the original publication on GSWA Knowledge Base with a link to the article. However, you must not submit the same content to other platforms for exclusive publication before it has been published on GSWA Knowledge Base.

4. Compensation

Currently, GSWA Knowledge Base does not offer monetary compensation for submitted content. However, we provide exposure and recognition for contributors by showcasing their work to a global audience of social work professionals, organizations, and individuals interested in social justice and community development.

GSWA Knowledge Base may, at its discretion, offer additional benefits or incentives in the future, such as access to exclusive events, networking opportunities, or professional development resources.

5. Content Removal

You understand and agree that GSWA Knowledge Base may remove any content from its platform for the following reasons:

  • If the content is found to violate our Editorial Guidelines or Code of Conduct.
  • If the content is outdated, irrelevant, or no longer aligns with the mission and objectives of GSWA Knowledge Base.
  • If you request removal, provided that the content no longer contributes to the platform’s objectives.

Requests for removal of content should be sent to editor@docs.gswa.in. Upon review, GSWA Knowledge Base will determine whether the content should be removed, with consideration given to maintaining the integrity of the platform’s historical records.

6. Indemnity and Liability

By submitting content to GSWA Knowledge Base, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless GSWA Knowledge Base, its employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or legal actions that may arise as a result of the content you submit. This includes, but is not limited to, any legal issues related to copyright infringement, defamation, or violation of intellectual property rights.

GSWA Knowledge Base is not liable for any loss or damage that may occur as a result of the publication of your content, including but not limited to any damages arising from third-party use of the content.

7. Confidentiality and Privacy

  • Confidentiality: You agree not to disclose any confidential information that may have been shared with you as part of the submission process. This includes any proprietary information or unpublished work that is not publicly available.
  • Personal Data: Any personal data you provide, including your name, contact details, and biography, will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Amendments to This Agreement

GSWA Knowledge Base reserves the right to modify or update this Contributor Agreement at any time. Any changes will be communicated to contributors via email or posted on this page, with an updated Effective Date. By continuing to submit content after any changes are made, you accept and agree to the revised terms.

By submitting your content to GSWA Knowledge Base, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Contributor Agreement. We appreciate your contribution to our platform and thank you for helping to advance the mission of social justice, social work, and community development.
